For those of you that haven’t already been floored by the likes of David Blaine (a little ten years ago) Derren Brown (a little weird) and Paul Daniels (a little magician) then let me introduce you to… well… me!
If you fancy being balls deep in a world of electrifying feats of kick ass magic – then I’m very pleased to meet you. Charmed, I’m sure… and I’m sure you will be!
I could give you a long winded speech written in the third person about what makes me unique, but that will become glaringly obvious as you look around my site! Do enjoy your visit and don’t forget to take a look at my video…

Ever since Dynamo’s recent tv show came out (about 6 weeks ago), the first thing I get asked at gigs is; “can you do what that Dynamo fella can do?”
And what can you say to that? If you haven’t seen the programme, Dynamo does some audacious stuff – teleportation and walking on water to name a few! Well, these effects certainly weren’t in my Paul Daniel’s magic kit when I first started out so I’m sad to say I can’t replicate any of these effects!
But what I can do doesn’t require any elaborate set ups/stooges or clever edits…
The show is a great hours worth of entertainment but it’s not really a true reflection of what close up magic really is.
If you’d like to see first hand what close up magic really minus the tv trickery then visit here – staffordshire magician or here – Birmingham magician
Where have you been? you seem to say (in my head) .
Its been manic of late – plenty to keep me off the streets. I’ve been to birthdays, weddings and company do’s entertaining with my close up wizardry. New photos to follow soon. So if you’re looking for a Birmingham magician then give me a call or send me an email and I’ll get back to you pronto.

I recently performed at a wedding in Birmingham and met Simon Thomas – a great wedding photographer. Look no further for great reactions (from your guests as I wow them with great tricks that would fool even Penn and Teller!) captured by Simon Thomas – for long lasting memories!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any news and that’s because I’ve been super busy attending weddings around Staffordshire and Birmingham.

Here’s what happens: Bride and groom to be spend many months deciding on who to invite, who sits next to Uncle Trev and how many tiers the wedding cake should be. But here’s one thing that many happy couples over look; How to keep their guests occupied once the confetti has been fired and the coffee’s been poured. And the answer is simple; book a close up magician
For some reason, entertainment at weddings isn’t a priority for most people yet ensuring your guests are kept amused and as far away from Uncle Trevor as possible really is the key to a great wedding.
Hiring a great close up magician (me) is just the ticket.
By hiring a wedding magician, you can be sure that your event will be the one people are talking about long after the wedding cake has been consumed.
So don’t wait until the last minute – book your wedding entertainment now!
p.s
don’t invite Uncle Trev

Normally I get asked to entertain guests with fantastic comedy table magic but what the dickens am I laughing about here?
I was asked to perform at a companies work do in Birmingham last week and this shot was taken yet I can’t think what was so funny!

Anyway – if you would also like to make me laugh at your next Birmingham party – book me, Birmingham magician
Did you see Britain’s Got Talent tonight?
If so, you would have seen magic act David and Karen performing with great success. It was nice to see positive reactions from the audience’s plus good feedback from the judges – especially Simon Cowell who isn’t too keen on us magicians (I reckon he had a bad experience with a third rate magician for his 6th birthday – we’ve all been there).

Anyway – I don’t perform large illusions, what I do (close up magic) doesn’t involve large items or getting dressed up in a tight water proof cozzy – instead you can get right up close to the action and remain relatively dry! Performing effects with cards, money, rings and what ever else you happen to have (your watch and wallet look inviting), I will entertain all your guests with some top notch close up magic and guarantee your event will kick some ass.
So if you’re after a staffordshire or birmingham magician for your wedding or party, give me a call and lets get your entertainment sorted today – the caterers can always wait until tomorrow!
It’s been a busy week with a few trips to London on the train (managed to blag a 1st class seat when they realised I’m Birmingham’s top magician ranking at 12% famous…).
Last night’s gig – booked by Sainsburys to entertain 800 guests at a busy bar in Piccadilly. To say it was noisy and crowded would be accurate – but me and fellow magician Russ Stokes (another Birmingham magician) certainly wow’ed the masses with some great close up magic despite the tough conditions.
I understand there are a boat load of magicians in the Birmingham and Staffordshire area and it may seem hard to make a decision on which table magician you should book for your wedding/party.
Well, I’m here to help – I’m a Birmingham magician! It’s so much easier to make a decision once you’ve seen the product in the flesh and if you’d like to meet up and see some sample trickery and have a chat about your event then let’s do it.

I also have a fairly healthy points card at Costa so the drinks are on me (just make them small ones…)
So for a magician in Birmingham, Staffordshire and all the coffee shops in-between, call me today.

It’s been a busy April so far and last week I entertained at an 80th, 21st and 30th birthday party – I really am the party animal!
Any who – 2 more reviews have made their way in to my Free Index page which is always great for my ego and great for you if you’re faced with many different quotes from Birmingham magicians and not too sure who to go with.
So have a butchers and give me a tinkle should you wish to book me to entertain with close up magic at your next event.
